Enugu guber: Accept Mbah’s victory as will of God – Youth group begs opposition

Agbaja Youths General Assembly has urged opposition political parties in Enugu State to accept the outcome of the governorship election as the will of God.

The group spoke shortly after the Governor-elect, Barr. Peter Mbah was presented with a certificate of return.

In a statement signed by its National President, Comrade Ebube Nebo and the General Secretary, Udeh Kester, the youth group said now that Mbah has received his certificate of return, everyone should give him the necessary support to move the State forward.

“Agbaja youths congratulate Peter Mbah on his election as the governor of Enugu State. The INEC has also reaffirmed that mandate by presenting a certificate of return to him.

“It is now time to move on; it is time for work, time for all the needed support to the incoming administration. We urge all the aggrieved politicians to set politics aside and give Barr. Peter Mbah all the support he needs.

“We enjoin them to withdraw all the cases already instituted in court.

“We equally call on other youths to stay violence-free to enable us enjoy the developmental plans of Peter Mbah to Enugu youths. He is the man most qualified and chosen by God and the masses to govern Enugu state at this time,” the group further stated.
