The House of Representatives member-elect representing Kano Municipal, Sagir Koki, has mimicked Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi’s conversation with Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel.

Media Talk Africa recalls that an online news platform released an audio on Saturday night where Obi was heard describing the 2023 election as a ‘religious war’ while campaigning for votes from the South Western region. The video has caused a stir online.

The former governor of Anambra State repeatedly said “Yes Daddy” while the conversation lasted.

Kenneth Okonkwo, spokesperson of LP Presidential Campaign, confirming the authenticity of the audio in a statement on Sunday claimed it was taken out of context by critics.

But Koki, mimicking Obi after presenting his Certificate of Return to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People Party, NNPP, posted on Twitter: “Thank You, Daddy, Yes, Daddy.”
