Super Falcons camp swells with 19 players pre-Haiti, New Zealand friendlies

10 more players have arrived the Super Falcons camp in Antalya, Turkey ahead of the friendlies against Haiti and New Zealand.

In total, there are now 19 players at the team’s Sense De Luxe Hotel base in Antalya.

Among new arrivals are Barcelona Femeni forward, Asisat Oshoala, goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Atletico Madrid star, Rasheedat Ajibade and Leicester City defender, Ashleigh Plumptre.

Only four players are still being expected in camp.

The Super Falcons will take on Haiti at the Emir Sports Complex in Antalya on Friday.

Randy Waldrum’s side will later lock horns with New Zealand at the Mardan Sports Complex also in Antalya next week Tuesday.

The two matches have been lined up to put the team in proper shape for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The 19 players in camp include; Tosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Ashleigh Plumptre, Gift Monday, Asisat Oshoala, Ngozi Okobi, Toni Payne, Christy Uchiebe Rasheedat Ajibade, Yewande Balogun, Regina Otu, Esther Okoronkwo, Onome Ebi, Etim Inyene, Abiodun Deborah, Halimatu Ayinde, Vivian Ikechukwu, Glory Ogbonna.
