The Nigeria Police Force NPF has embarked on a digital skills training program for its personnel.

Kano State Police Commissioner, CP Mamman Dauda disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen.

He said the training is in collaboration with an independent media company to enhance their proficiency in modern communication technologies.

The statement read, ” The digital skills training program is aimed at equipping police personnel with modern tools and techniques in digital communication, social media management, content creation, and data analysis”.

He explained that the program is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience that will enable them effectively communicate with the public, respond to emergencies, create, edit, fact-check and manage social media content for the police command.

” It is believed that by enhancing the digital skills of our police personnel, we can provide better and more effective services to the good people of Kano State,” the CP said.
