Doma United forward gets Flying Eagles invitation

Doma United striker Charles Chubuike has been given a call-up to join Nigeria’s U-20 side, Flying Eagles.

Media Talk Africa gathered that the exploit of the towering forward with the Savannah Tigers has been noticed by the Flying Eagles’ technical crew.

Chubuike, who was on the radar of Remo Stars during the mid-season transfer window, has scored three goals in his debut season.

The Flying Eagles finished third at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Ladan Bosso’s side will compete at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup alongside three other African countries, Senegal, Gambia and Tunisia.

FIFA is yet to name a new host after it withdrew the hosting right from Indonesia.
