IMC pledges to maintain fairness, transparency in decision making

The Interim Management Committee (IMC) has assured clubs and stakeholders in the Nigeria Premier Football League of fairness in all its dealings.

The IMC through a statement released by the head of operations, Davidson Owumi stated all its decisions are not meant to favour any club or some individuals.

A proof of this, according to Owumi, was the suspension of Niger Tornadoes chairman, Adamu Aliyu Mohammed.

Mohamed was duly sanctioned despite his position as a member of the IMC.

Owumi further assured that all laid down laws will be applied on findings supported by the rules.

Remo Stars were heavily sanctioned by the IMC last week for assaulting a match official during a matchday 12 encounter against Gombe United.
