UCL: Osimhen’s injury changes nothing for us – Milan star, Hernandez

AC Milan defender, Theo Hernandez has insisted that Victor Osimhen’s injury will not be an added advantage for the Rossoneri against Napoli.

The two Serie A giants will clash in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final fixture at the San Siro on Wednesday night.

Osimhen, the current Serie A leading scorer, will miss the game due to a muscle injury.

AC Milan thrashed Lucario Spalletti’s men 4-0 in a league game last month which Osimhen missed as a result of injury.

The Nigerian was badly missed in that encounter but Hernandez is adamant Napoli has other quality players to take his place.

“It changes nothing for us,” the Frenchman told a press conference on Tuesday.

“Napoli has many strong players and whoever replaces him will do well.”

Osimhen has scored four times in five outings for the Partenopei in the Champions League this season.
