Osho returns to Rivers United as assistant coach

Fatai Osho has returned as assistant coach of Nigeria Premier Football League champions Rivers United 48 hours after resigning from the post.

Osho reportedly resigned from the role due to disrespect and contempt from the club’s management.

The young tactician, according to reports, had a strained relationship with the club’s general manager, Okechukwu Kpalukwu.

Osho had been linked with the vacant coaching job at another NPFL club, Nasarawa United.

He has been working as an assistant to Stanley Eguma since 2021.

The tactician has also worked with Remo Stars and Enyimba in the past.
