Former Arsenal star Mikael Silvestre tipped Arsenal to win the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City come May ending.
The Gunners sit top of the Premier League table with six points ahead of Manchester City in second place.
Arsenal failed to beat Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, with the game ending 2-2, which increased the chances of Pep Guardiola’s side to also clinch the title.
Speaking to bettingexpert, Silvestre pointed out that the Gunners will for certain be disappointed with the draw with Liverpool, blaming the North London side for giving up two crucial points after having led the game 2-0 in the first half.
“Nevertheless, they have to play Manchester City and Newcastle United up next as well. I think the race is on.
“So, it will be a very tight one but I think Arsenal can manage it. They’ve been through a lot this season and I think they can hold their nerves and keep playing the way they have done so far,” he said.
