Use Ramadan to pray for peace in Nigeria – Cleric to Muslims faithful

The Chief Imam of the Muslim Foundation, Jumuat Mosque in Gusau, Zamfara State, Sheikh Sani Tukur Jangebe has urged Muslims to intensify prayers during the last days of Ramadan for peace and stability to prevail in the state and the country at large.

Sheikh Jangebe who is also the State commissioner for Religious Affairs gave the charge while delivering Ramadan tafsir in Gusau, the state capital.

He said the insecurity situation in the state has gone beyond the control of the government and security agencies, saying the only option to restore peace to the state remains prayers for divine intervention.

“At this stage, we cannot do anything to salvage the situation unless we embark on serious prayers for divine intervention”
