Kaduna: APC defeats PDP with 608 votes in Sanga Assembly rerun

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the rerun election for Kaduna State House of Assembly’s Sanga constituency seat.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Haliru Dangana the winner.

INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Umaru Musa announced the result in Gwantu, Saturday night.

Dangana polled 13,883 votes to defeat Comfort Amwe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 13, 275 votes.

“Haliru Dangana of the APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law by scoring the highest votes is hereby declared the winner,” Musa said.
