He tackles a lot – Real Madrid’s Camavinga names player he learns from

Real Madrid midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga, has named Rennes star Benjamin Andre as the player he learns from to improve an aspect of his game.

Camavinga said that he has learned from Andre’s tackling method and has implemented it in his game at Real Madrid.

The 20-year-old has turned out to be a versatile player for Real Madrid this season.

Apart from the familiar midfield position, Camavinga has also often been deployed as a left-back by Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti this term.

“I was watching Benjamin André in Rennes,” Camavinga said (h/t Madrid Xtra).

“He tackled a lot with one knee on the ground, which allowed him to get up quickly, now I use that and it is effective.”
