EPL: He’s too old, expensive – Lothar Matthaus on Man Utd target

Bayern Munich legend, Lothar Matthaus, has insisted that Manchester United target, Harry Kane, is too old and expensive.

Kane, who currently plays his club football at Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, has long been linked with a move away from Spurs.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to Man United and Bayern Munich in recent weeks.

However, Matthaus believes Kane is not the right fit for Bayern Munich.

“I’m excited to see if a new striker comes along,” Matthaus wrote in his Sky Sport Deutschland column.

“Harry Kane would be too old and too expensive for me.”
