Kogi Guber: Senator Adeyemi serial betrayer – Commissioner, Fanwo alleges

The Commissioner for Information and Communications in Kogi State, Kingsley Fanwo has fired back at Senator Smart Adeyemi over a comment describing Governor Yahaya Bello as a Tyrant.

Fanwo on Tuesday, during an interview on Arise Television, alleged that Adeyemi had been a serial betrayer.

Recall that Adeyemi while reacting to the outcome of the All Progressives Party’s primary conducted on Friday, alleged that the primary poll was rigged in favour of Bello’s anointed candidate, Ahmed Usman Ododo, a former Auditor-general of the state.

But Fanwo disagreed with Adeyemi, saying the primary was free and fair.

“The primary is the best in the state’s history; you could see the enthusiasm of the party members who participated in the process.

“Today that man[Yahaya Bello] who supported him[Adeyemi] to become a senator, despite much advice from people outside and within the government that he is going to betray him as a serial betrayal, Bello went ahead and supported him”, he stated.

Media Talk Africa had reported that Ododo was declared the APC’s flagbearer before November 11 2023, governorship election in Kogi State.

However, Adeyemi and four other aspirants in the primary rejected the outcome.
