Former Manchester United forward, Dimitar Berbatov, has urged his former club to sign Napoli’s Victor Osimhen over Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
Osimhen and Kane have been linked with a move to Man United this summer.
But Berbatov said that he wants to see Osimhen at Old Trafford.
“You cannot argue with the goalscoring record of Harry Kane,” Berbatov told Goal.
“But the one concern I have is that age, he’s [almost] 30, so nobody is getting any younger. And in my mind, this is going to be a major concern if someone is going to buy him.
“It is so difficult because you need someone who is going to score goals, someone who is going to be the right age so he can develop and get better and better and better.
“You have to use him for years to come, and in my mind, that is [Victor] Osimhen.
“This’s the type of player I would like to see for United.”
