U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles in Pot 3 ahead draw ceremony

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have been placed in Pot 3 ahead of the draw ceremony for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The draw will take place at the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland on Friday.

Uzbekistan, Japan, Honduras, Iraq and Fiji are also placed in Pot 3 alongside the Flying Eagles.

The Flying Eagles are among the four African countries that will compete in the competition.

African champions Senegal are in Pot 1 alongside Argentina, USA, Italy, Uruguay, and France.

Gambia and Tunisia have been placed in Pot 4 with Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Israel and Slovakia.

The competition will start in Argentina on May 20.
