EPL: I hope – Moises Caicedo picks club to win title between Arsenal, Man City

Brighton midfielder, Moises Caicedo, hopes Arsenal can beat Manchester City in the Premier League title race this season.

Caicedo came very close to joining Arsenal in January, but Brighton rejected two official bids from Arsenal for the player’s signature, with the second offer valued at around £70 million in transfer fees.

Brighton also rejected a £55 million offer from Arsenal’s London rival Chelsea for the Ecuador international’s signature.

Caicedo even wrote an open letter to Brighton owner Tony Bloom to allow him to leave the Premier League club to no avail.

However, when asked by Telegraph if he wants to see Arsenal win the Premier League title this term, Caicedo said, “Of course. I hope so, but let’s see.”

Caicedo’s contract with Brighton will expire in June 2027.
