Liverpool midfielder, Fabinho, has lauded teammate Curtis Jones, saying the youngster is always ready.
Fabinho also said Jones played well when he returned to Liverpool’s starting lineup.
Jones has been making waves in the Reds’ starting XI lately, catching the eye of Fabinho.
The 22-year-old has been a standout performer for Liverpool in recent matches.
“I am not really surprised [by how Liverpool’s new-look midfield is working],” Fabinho told the club’s website.
“Curtis, I know him well. I know his quality. He is the kind of player that always looks ready. I don’t know how many games he was on the bench or not even on the bench [but] when he came into the starting XI, he always played well.
“That is why I say he is already ready. I am not surprised at all with his performances.”
