EPL: My biggest worry for Tottenham – O’Hara

Former Tottenham star Jamie O’Hara has said that the team could face a dismal season similar to Chelsea should they allow their main man Harry Kane leave.

The former midfielder is also worried that Chelsea could continue their incredible spending by signing Harry Kane in the summer.

Spurs were beaten 4-3 by Liverpool in a dramatic Premier League fixture on Sunday with Kane scoring the first goal of their comeback from 3-0 down.

Kane, 29, will see off his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next year so could depart for free, but O’Hara is worried about how the north London side will cope without him.

“If we haven’t got Kane, I don’t know what we’re going to do next season. Without Kane, we could be Chelsea next season, that’s how bad it could be.”

The Blues have the financial might to buy any player in their wish list and O’Hara is concerned that they could make a move for Kane.

Asked about Kane’s future, O’Hara told talkSPORT: “I think he’s obviously going to be on his way out eventually, the man is a world-class player.

“He’s got a year left on his contract. I’m worried. The biggest thing I’m worried about is Chelsea because Todd Boehly has got money to burn, he’ll throw anything at it.”
