New Police Commissioner assumes duty in Zamfara

The newly deployed Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Bunu has assumed office as the new police boss in the state.

Media Talk Africa reports that Bunu inspected the State Police Command headquarters, appealing to working journalists in the state to give him maximum support to carry out his constitutional duties with courage.

The new commissioner was introduced to senior police officers in the state, after which they went in for a closed-door meeting that lasted for several hours.

Recall that Mohammed Bunu was last week deployed to Zamfara State to take over from Kolo Yusuf as the new Commissioner of Police.
