Zangon Kataf Killings: Council Chairman, Zimbo begs govt to assist victims

The Council Chairman, Zangon Kataf local government area of Kaduna State, Mr Francis Sani Zimbo, has appealed to the federal and Kaduna State governments to come to the aid of the people affected by violent attacks.

Zimbo is also appealing for an end to the crisis that has claimed lives and led to the destruction of properties worth millions.

Speaking on Monday at Samaru, Zangon Kataf local government area, Zimbo said, “There are so many people that have been affected by the crisis, some are in need of medical treatment while others have had their houses burnt and presently have no place to put their heads.

”I am making a passionate appeal to the federal and Kaduna State governments to kindly assist these categories of people to start life afresh.”

He stated that the aid could be in the form of paying the medical bills of those seriously wounded following the attacks or building materials for those whose houses were completely razed down.

He explained that the people have no place to run to and have suffered enough hardship following the various attacks on the community

”The attacks have led to loss of lives, others are wounded while others had their houses burnt down by the attackers”, Zimbo lamented.
