Transfer: Super Eagles goalie, Adeleye pens new contract with Hapoel Jerusalem

Nigeria goalkeeper, Adebayo Adeleye has penned a new three-year contract with Israeli Premier League club, Hapoel Jerusalem.

Adeleye has been linked with a move away from Hapoel Jerusalem with clubs in Germany and Belgium interested in his services.

The 23-year-old has, however, ended speculations about his future by signing a new contract.

“The team’s goalkeeper Adeleye Adebayo signed a new contract with the club for three more seasons, ” reads a statement on the club’s official website.

The shot-stopper joined the Hapoel Jerusalem’s youth team in the 2018-19 season.

Adeleye was promoted to the first team the following season.

He received his first call-up to the Super Eagles in June 2022.
