Rivers United goalie, Sochima suspended for Bayelsa United clash

Rivers United will be without their goalkeeper, Victor Sochima when they take on Bayelsa United in the South South derby at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday (today).

The Super Eagles invitee was sent off in the Pride of Rivers rescheduled matchday 11 fixture against Lobi Stars at the New Jos Stadium, Jos last month.

He has already missed the clash against Dakkada on match day 14.

Sochima has been in impressive form for the Stanley Egunma’s side both in the Nigeria Premier Football League and during the CAF Confederation Cup before their ouster lastweek.

Rivers United will hope to keep pressure on Lobi Stars who sit comfortably at the top of Group B.

Rivers United are unbeaten at home this season in the NPFL.
