Brighton Coach Roberto De Zerbi Admits Possibility of Caicedo and Mac Allister Leaving

Brighton & Hove Albion coach, Roberto De Zerbi, has hinted at the possibility of losing key players, Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister, to new clubs this summer. Both players have been impressive this season, thereby attracting numerous suitors.

Caicedo has been linked with several high-profile clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool, while Mac Allister has also been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.

De Zerbi made the admission while speaking to Sky Sports shortly after Brighton’s impressive 3-0 victory over Arsenal in Sunday’s Premier League match. He stated that the club must be ready to bring in other good players if the duo departs.

The coach also had words of advice for Kaoru Mitoma and Pervis Estupinan, saying, “For them, the best solution is to stay with us. I don’t know whether they are ready to play for the big teams just yet. We can offer them the opportunity to progress and improve.”

Brighton is currently 15th on the EPL table and has had a relatively stable season, despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the summer transfer window now open, the club hopes to bolster its squad while keeping its key players.

In conclusion, the fate of Caicedo and Mac Allister remains uncertain, but fans of the club will hope that they can retain their services for at least another season.
