Gary Neville Criticizes Arsenal’s Senior Players for Title Collapse

Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville, has attributed Arsenal’s recent title collapse to the team’s senior players. Despite their initial push to surpass Manchester City in the Premier League, Arsenal’s recent performance has left them with a four-point gap behind the title contenders who are just one win away from being confirmed champions.

Speaking during a recent interview on Sky Sports, Neville stated that players like Gabriel Magalhaes, Thomas Partey, and Granit Xhaka failed to do enough for their younger colleagues on the team. In his opinion, their poor performance is due to their inability to settle the younger players under the immense pressure to perform.

According to Neville, “The experienced players have just not been quite there for them.” He went on to highlight that Arsenal’s recent performance is evidence of a team that lost its form and could not get it back.

Neville has always maintained his doubts about Arsenal’s ability to win the trophy. However, he believes that the responsibility for the recent defeat should rest solely on the shoulders of Arsenal’s senior players.

Arsenal’s fate for the league title now looks bleak with their recent title defeat. The team is left with big questions to answer as they prepare for the next season. For now, all they can do is reflect on their performance and learn from their mistakes.
