Jose Mourinho sets sights on Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emegha

Football fans across the world are buzzing with excitement as AS Roma, under the leadership of legendary manager Jose Mourinho, are reportedly keeping a close eye on Nigerian-born football sensation, Emmanuel Emegha.

The 20-year-old striker has been in impressive form for his current club Sturm Graz in Austria, having scored an impressive 10 goals this season alone. It comes as no surprise that he is attracting interest from a number of top-flight clubs across Europe, with Red Bull Salzburg also said to be in the mix.

Born to a Nigerian mother and Togolese father in the Netherlands, Emegha is a dual national and has already represented the Netherlands at youth level. However, the young star has yet to make his senior debut, leaving the door open for a potential international career with either Nigeria or Togo.

The move to Roma would be a significant step up for Emegha, who only joined Sturm Graz last summer from Royal Antwerp in the Belgian Pro League. However, the prospect of working under the tutelage of Mourinho could prove to be irresistible for the young striker, whose talent and potential are only just beginning to emerge.
