Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi, inspires artwork for his latest album, ‘Timeless’

Davido, the popular Nigerian afrobeats artist, has shared that the artwork for his latest album ‘Timeless’ was inspired by his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

The singer, also known as ‘Omo Baba Olowo’, made this disclosure while speaking on The Cruz Show on Real 92.3 FM.

According to Davido, “The artwork represents a lot of things in my life. I lost my son last year. He loved nature, like trees. His best animal was an elephant.

The art cover for ‘Timeless’ features an elephant, a bird and trees. According to Davido, these elements represent his son who had a deep love for nature; trees and elephants in particular.

The singer also went on to reveal that his late son was present in the studio with him while he was recording some of the tracks on the album. This revelation highlights the profound love and bond that exists between Davido and his son.

Ifeanyi Adeleke drowned in a pool at Davido’s residence in Banana Island, Lagos State in October 2022.
