AMVCAs Host IK Osakioduwa Suggests the Inclusion of Cosmetic Surgeons Category at Future Editions

IK Osakioduwa, the host of the ninth edition of Africa Magic Viewers Choice, has called for the inclusion of a new category for cosmetic surgeons at future award ceremonies. IK made this known while co-hosting the award show alongside Toke Makinwa at Eko Hotel in Lagos State.

During the event, he noted that cosmetic surgery is expensive, and the skilled surgeons responsible for the transformations should be appreciated and acknowledged for their commendable work.

“I will like to recommend that next year, we have to have a category for cosmetic surgeons who have worked so hard to make so many of these actors beautiful. They work so hard… Listen, it’s not a small deal. Do you know how expensive these plastic surgeries are? I am not talking about the cheap ones we do in Nigeria. Back in the days, that was like $40,000. It was that expensive. Toke, am I lying?” he asked.

IK Osakioduwa’s proposal came on the back of several female celebrities confirming that they had Brazilian Butt Lift during the event. Among them were Mercy Eke, Nengi Hampson, Toke Makinwa, Tonto Dike, and Abiri Oluwabusayo.

With the clamor for recognition by cosmetic surgeons in Nigeria, IK’s suggestion could pave the way for award categories for brilliant surgeons in the field of cosmetics for future events in Nigeria.

It is noteworthy that IK Osakioduwa’s suggestion could increase the recognition of cosmetic surgeons’ work and could boost aesthetic surgery in Nigeria.
