Buhari Reviews Naval Fleet and tasks the Nigerian Military under Tinubu’s Administration

President Muhammadu Buhari expressed confidence in the Nigerian Navy and the country’s military preparedness during his tenure. The Presidential Fleet Review took place at the Naval Dockyard Limited, Victoria Island, Lagos. Buhari praised the Navy’s achievements in protecting the nation’s maritime domain and ensuring economic prosperity. He stated his belief that President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will continue the momentum of the current administration in supplying necessary support to the Nigerian Navy. He expressed his best wishes to the Navy and wished them fair winds as he completes his term as President on May 29th. Buhari also expressed his trust that Tinubu’s leadership will bring about more acquisition of naval assets, national ship building and indigenous production, the intensification of piracy prevention efforts, and tackling crude oil theft in the maritime domain.
