Oscar advises Chelsea Midfielder Mason Mount to consider moving on from Stamford Bridge

Former Chelsea midfielder, Oscar, has suggested that Mason Mount should look to leave Stamford Bridge for another team if he is not content with his current situation at the club.

Mount has reportedly been on the radar of top European clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich this summer.

With negotiations on a new deal failing so far, Mount’s contract with Chelsea is set to expire next summer.

Speaking about Mount’s situation, Oscar, who spent five years at Chelsea from 2012 to 2017, told talkSPORT: “I think when you have had a challenging season, not only for Mount but for the entire team, it is difficult to assess the players’ performances.

“Of course, he wants to play and he wants to play more. I think if he is not happy at Chelsea, sometimes it is better to look for greener pastures elsewhere.

“However, if he is still feeling fulfilled and wants to work hard at becoming a great player at Chelsea, he should stay with the team.”
