Rayo Vallecano defender Fran Garcia will be the first summer transfer window signing for Real Madrid, confirmed by manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti commended Garcia’s quick pace and stated that he would soon join Real Madrid. Following Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday night, Ancelotti acknowledged Garcia’s signing as he commented (via 90min): “Fran Garcia is a left-back who has a lot of energy.
“He is very fast with the ball, and he attacks very well. He is a very good profile for Real Madrid, and next year he will be with us.”
Garcia, who is currently 23 years old, previously passed through Real Madrid’s youth system from 2013 to 2018. He joined Rayo Vallecano on a permanent transfer in 2021.
