Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, Clinches Cypriot Cup with Omonia Nicosia

In a thrilling match that saw AEL Limassol put up a good fight, Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, was in fantastic form as he helped his team, Omonia Nicosia, to clinch the Cypriot Cup with a 1-0 victory.

It was Uzoho’s second trophy since joining Nicosia on a free transfer in 2021, having helped the team win the same trophy last season. With this victory, Omonia Nicosia has now won the Cypriot Cup 16 times in their history.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper kept his second clean sheet in the competition for the Clover, earning him rave reviews for his outstanding performance in the Europa League this season.
