The Mandate Movement Urges Lagosians to Unite and Support Governor Sanwo-Olu for a Better State

The Mandate Movement, a group of concerned citizens, has urged all residents of Lagos State to unite and support Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the recently inaugurated governor, for a more prosperous state regardless of their tribe, religion, or political affiliation. The group’s Chairman, Abdullahi Enilolobo, has called on the people to put their differences aside and work toward the common goal of development.

Enilolobo urged Sanwo-Olu to continue his developmental plans, stating that infrastructural development, social welfare, education, human capital development, youth empowerment, agriculture, and security will be the focus of the administration.

The Mandate Movement said Lagosians have complemented the governor’s efforts toward implementing important initiatives in the last four years, safeguarding citizens’ welfare and well-being, and ultimately improving the state’s socio-economic development. The group emphasized that Sanwo-Olu’s administration should ensure the equal and balanced development of all sectors, with no sector at the detriment of others.

The group urged the new administration to prioritize pensions, gratuity, education, security, sports, and culture, stating that the people should expect more in the next four years.

In his second term, it is expected that Governor Sanwo-Olu will forge ahead on the path of continuity and work assiduously to ensure another successful term in office, while positively impacting Lagosians.
