Timothy Osadolor, a member of the National Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, has expressed his disapproval of President Bola Tinubu’s decision to remove subsidies from petroleum motor spirit aka fuel. Osadolor, who is also the Deputy National Youth Leader of the PDP, stated that the President should apologize immediately for the eight years of hardship Nigerians suffered during the administration of former President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd).
Osadolor added that Nigerians are already at the limit of their endurance, and they would not accept any further blows from the ruling party. He urged the President to be watchful of his policies, as Nigerians are becoming restive in the wake of recent misguided decisions by the government.
According to Osadolor, “Tinubu should try to erase the negative image that Nigerians already have of him and his party, the APC. He should begin by apologizing to the country for overseeing a party that was in charge of the misfortune that overtook Nigeria in the past eight years and the recent event that led to his ascension to the presidency”.
He further stated that the President’s handlers should exhibit greater finesse and tact when relating to individuals from different political backgrounds. He concluded by urging Tinubu to publicly apologize for recent anomalies and take concrete steps to address the concerns of Nigerians.
