Youths in UK congratulate President Tinubu and Call for Youth-Oriented Policies

Youths of the All Progressives Congress Youth wing in the United Kingdom have congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his swearing-in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In a letter signed by the leader of the forum, Olumide Awoyemi, they urged the President to focus on and implement youth-oriented policies.

The reported that the former President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), was succeeded by the 71-year-old President Tinubu on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the Eagles Square in Abuja, alongside his Vice President, Kashim Shettima.

The APC UK Youth Wing expressed their appreciation to the Nigerian electorate for their unwavering support, enthusiasm and commitment to the democratic process, adding that their active engagement and participation resulted in President Tinubu’s victory. They also expressed their desire to work alongside the President to achieve a better Nigeria.

According to the forum, President Tinubu’s victory represents a resounding endorsement of his leadership qualities, vision, and unwavering dedication to the progress of Nigeria. Throughout his career, the President has consistently worked towards fostering unity, economic growth, and championing the well-being of Nigerians.

Furthermore, they anticipate that the President’s administration’s policies and initiatives will create an enabling environment that stimulates investment, fosters job creation, enhances the economy, infrastructure development, education, healthcare and security.

It is hoped that President Tinubu’s administration will take the necessary steps to prioritize the aspirations of the Nigerian youths, who have long suffered neglected aspirations, so as to build a better Nigeria.
