Former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima has resumed work at the Vice President’s Wing of the Presidential Villa, Abuja. He was received at the office on Tuesday, at about 12:39 pm.
Speaking on his arrival, Shettima affirmed his commitment and that of President Bola Tinubu towards improving the lives of Nigerians. The Vice President, while addressing State House correspondents in his office, assured Nigerians of the current administration’s commitment to making Nigeria better.
This comes in light of the recent fuel scarcity that occurred as a result of Tinubu’s announcement of fuel subsidy removal. Shettima assured Nigerians that the current administration is committed to finding lasting solutions to these challenges to ensure that the country continues to move towards national development.
Both Tinubu and Shettima were inaugurated on Monday at the Eagle Square in Abuja. Their presence in the government has been lauded by many citizens who are optimistic about the change they would bring to the country.
