Ohanaeze Ndigbo: Don’t Discredit Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s Administration

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo group has issued a warning against a planned effort to discredit the administration of former Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, cautioning those involved to reverse their actions or face the consequences. According to the group, Governor Ugwuanyi left a peaceful and secure state reputation after his tenure, despite security challenges affecting other areas. President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, praised the former governor’s leadership and approach to maintaining security, while criticising those attempting to discredit his office.

Mr Nnabuike added that former governor Ugwuanyi should be celebrated, citing his rural development initiatives, which resulted in an investment in education and the health sector. The youths of Enugu State also benefited from the former governor’s administration as they were given the opportunity to occupy important positions and hold critical roles. The statement concluded by declaring the group’s solid support for Governor Ugwuanyi and their intention to defend him fiercely.
