Zimbabwean Midfielder Munashe Sundire Joins UK’s Slough Town FC

English football club, Slough Town FC, has confirmed the signing of Zimbabwean midfielder Munashe Sundire. The 26-year-old recently left St Albans City for the sixth-tier club following promotion from the Southern League. Nicknamed “The Rebels,” Slough Town hopes Sundire’s versatility and energy will contribute to the midfield and full-back positions. Sundire has spent time working with Hemel Hempstead Town, King’s Lynn Town, and Kettering Town, making 33 appearances in the National League’s Premier. Slough Town FC head coach Scott Davies believes Sundire’s “robust style of play” will bring a much-needed edge to the team. After being left with several summer options, Sundire said he felt encouraged to sign for Slough Town due to his trust in Davies and his team plan. For his part, Sundire hopes to contribute to winning games and, ultimately, competing for playoff positions.
