JUST IN: SSS grills AbdulRasheed Bawa

Hours after suspension of AbdulRasheed Bawa as chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the State Security Service, SSS, has invited him for questioning.

A terse statement by SSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, on Wednesday night said Mr Bawa had arrived at the secret police’s office “a few minutes ago”.

“The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

“Bawa arrived a few hours ago,” the statement said.
