Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned the general public to be wary of a fake LinkedIn account bearing the name and picture of its Permanent Secretary, Adamu Lamuwa.
The Ministry gave the warning in a public notice via its official Twitter handle on Monday, July 3, 2023.
According to the Ministry, the impersonator of the fake LinkedIn account also used WhatsApp number+2348032094552 to defraud unsuspecting persons.

The notice signed by its Spokesperson, Francisca Omayuli further disclosed that an investigation was ongoing to apprehend the impersonator.
