Katsina: Gov Radda appoints Danja SSA for Banditry and IDPs

The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has appointed Alhaji Saidu Ibrahim Danja as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) for Victims of Banditry and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

The appointment, which is said to be with immediate effect, is part of the governor’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by individuals affected by banditry as well as internally displaced persons within the state.

The appointment of Danja was conveyed in an official letter
duly signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa.

While extending his heartfelt congratulations to Danja on the appointment, Dangiwa said
“the appointment reflects Governor Radda’s confidence in Danja’s ability to serve the community’s best interests and contribute to the state’s efforts in addressing the challenges faced by victims of banditry and internal displacement.”

As contained in a statement issued to newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary to Katsina Governor, as Senior Special Assistant, Danja will be responsible for coordinating efforts to support victims of banditry and internally displaced persons, collaborating with relevant agencies, organizations, and community leaders. His role will involve developing and implementing initiatives to address the immediate and long-term needs of those affected, including access to shelter, healthcare, education, and livelihood opportunities.
