Rumour of Wike’s influence in emergence of minority leaders baseless – Sen Nwoko

Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Ned Nwoko, has dismissed rumours making the spherical that the previous governor of River State, Nyesom Wike, influenced the emergence of minority leaders of the tenth National Assembly.

He described the hearsay as baseless, stating that Wike can not symbolize seven political events that made up the minority.

Speaking with journalists on Wednesday in his workplace, Nwoko, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, pressured that the opposition Senators selected their very own earlier than Tuesday’s plenary.

He stated, “The minority parties in the 10th assembly consist of seven political parties.

“This becomes the requirement for those parties to nominate who will be the minority leader, and the question is this, is wike a member of seven political parties?”
