Hajj: Second batch of 269 Kwara Pilgrims returns to Nigeria

The Second Batch of 269 Muslim Pilgrims from Kwara State has returned to Nigeria after performing the rites of Hajj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia

The Pilgrims departed Jeddah International Airport in Air Peace Aircraft on Wednesday, July 10, 2023 and arrived at Ilorin International Airport at 1:38 pm.

About 3,740 pilgrims performed the 2023 pilgrimage exercise through the state’s Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board.

The first batch which convened 272 pilgrims from the state, had earlier arrived home last week Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

Meanwhile, another batch of pilgrims from the state are on their journey back home as NAHCON had assured that all arrangements had been put in place to ensure that all licenced Nigerian carriers will begin to operate their inbound flights to Nigeria optimally.
