BREAKING: APC Vice Chairman, Lukman resigns over alleged plans to impose Ganduje as Adamu’s replacement

The National Vice Chairman (North West) of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Salihu Mohammed Lukman, has resigned from the position.

Lukman’s resignation was in protest over speculations that former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, should be named APC’s National Chairman.

In a letter dated July 26, Lukman said the current atmosphere within APC was not in tandem with the vision of the founding fathers.

The letter was addressed to the APC National Working Committee, NWC-led by the acting National Chairman, Abubakar Kyari.

Lukman had warned APC against replacing the former National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu with Ganduje.

He said it would be suicidal to replace Adamu with Ganduje.
