Ebonyi State Government To End Unemployment, Youths Restiveness

The Government of Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has rolled out plans to impart skills on youths and Women, thereby creating Jobs for all in the State.

The State Commissioner for Skill Development and Job Creation Mr Okwu Oko Udu disclosed this during  flagging off Ceremony of  2023  Environmental Beautification Training Scheme EBTS organized by National Directorate of Employment NDE in Abakaliki the State Capital.

The Commissioner use the opportunity to inform the general public about the ongoing profiling of unskilled youths and Women  in his Ministry for proper training and empowerment.

“His Excellency the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt Hon. Francis Nwifuru in his administrative agenda which focuses of People’s Chatter of Needs is geared towards profiling the youths, training the youths and empowering them. By doing so they will become skilled and employers of labour, by doing that unemployment will gradually disappear in the State”

“Currently, the State Government through the Ministry of Skill Development and Job Creation is profiling  unskilled Ebonyi youths who are jobless for proper Orientation and empowerment. We were in Anambra State recently to sensitize our people there on the good agendas of the current Government which is mainly for the benefits of the Masses,” Oko said.

He said the present Government is out to Creat Jobs for its citizens.

He called on all unskilled and jobless Ebonyi people to come and tap from the plans already on ground for the masses.
