Tinubu’s broadcast: APC has no plans to stimulate domestic crude refining – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for not having plans to ensure domestic crude oil refining as an answer to the crippling Nigeria’s energy sector.

Mr Debo Ologunagba, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, stated this at a news conference in Abuja.

Ologunagba was reacting to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s address to Nigerians on fuel subsidy removal on Monday.

“It’s instructive to observe from the speech, that the APC has no plan to stimulate domestic crude refining as an answer to the crippling energy and manufacturing deficits in the country.

“It also shows APC’s insensitivity to the suffering of Nigerians and lackadaisical approach to serious issues of governance. It’s like the case of you take it or leave it,” he said.

Media Talk Africa reports that prices of goods and services have increased since the removal of fuel subsidy by the present administration.
