Newcastle legend, Alan Shearer has named the team to win the Premier League title and also finish in second position this season.
The new Premier League season started on Friday with Manchester City beating Burnley 3-0.
Man City won the Premier League title last season ahead of second position Arsenal.
However, Shearer believes Pep Guardiola’s side will win the English top-flight league title this season again and Arsenal will finish in second position.
Speaking with Gary Lineker on The Rest is Football podcast, Shearer said, “I would have them [Arsenal] in second position. I just think the quality that [Manchester] City have. I just expect City to do the same again, they may have a slow start or a little bit of a hangover.
“They proved they can recover from that. But I do see Arsenal pushing City all the way because I have been impressed by their signings. You are not spending that to finish second again.”
