Transfer: Genk, Southampton in swap deal for Onuachu

Belgian Pro League club, KRC Genk is working on a deal to bring Paul Onuachu back to the club.

Genk sold the Nigeria international to Sky Bet Championship club, Southampton in January.

The forward has, however, found the going too tough at the South Coast club and is seeking a return to familiar territory.

Transfer expert, Sacha Tavolieri revealed that Genk and Southampton are working on a swap deal that will see Onuachu return to Genk while Joseph Paintsil will move in the opposite direction.

Southampton paid €18m for Onuachu in January.

He failed to register a goal as the Saints were relegated from the Premier League.
