26 New Commissioners Inducted in Kebbi State’s Executive Council

In a momentous ceremony held on Friday, a total of twenty-six commissioners and members of the state executive council took their oath of office in Kebbi State.

Presiding over the swearing-in ceremony at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Lodge in Birnin Kebbi, Governor Nasiru Idris urged the newly appointed commissioners to fulfill the expectations of their constituents and effectively carry out their assigned responsibilities.

Emphasizing the importance of accountability, Governor Idris cautioned that any commissioner who fails to fulfill their duties will be promptly relieved of their position. He further directed the commissioners to report to their respective ministries immediately and assume their duties, with the primary goal of improving the lives of the people of Kebbi State.

The governor cited the commissioners’ outstanding track records and dedication to public service as the basis for their appointments.

Furthermore, Governor Idris encouraged the newly sworn-in commissioners to engage with the local communities in their respective areas to gain firsthand knowledge of their needs and challenges, facilitating more effective governance.

“I urge you to collaborate with the government to ensure the success of this administration,” Governor Idris proclaimed.
