In a recent interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, veteran Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, also known as Aki, opened up about his decision to hide his family from social media.
The accomplished 45-year-old actor explained that he chooses not to flaunt his wife and children on social media because he desires to preserve their privacy.
Regarding this, he said, “I have children, but I made the conscious decision to keep them out of the public eye because I am the celebrity, not them.”
He continued, “I simply want them to have the freedom to live their lives without any undue interference. Once everyone knows about them, it will invariably affect them. And I want to protect them from that.”
“That’s why I keep their identities hidden, even my wife, except for when we announced our wedding, so that she can carry out her everyday activities without unnecessary attention,” he added.
It can be recalled that Ikedieze tied the knot with his heartthrob Nneoma Nwaijah in 2011.
The couple has been blessed with children; however, the actor prefers to keep the details surrounding their lives undisclosed.
